PayPay Africa has its operational roots in Angola. The Mozambique project aims to bring that experience to a new local context, working on partnerships, the agent network and service preparation.
According to the project presentation, the planned first stage is Maputo city and province. Beira, Nampula, Chimoio, Tete and Quelimane are part of the expansion plan. A launch date and final coverage have not been published.

PayPay Africa presents its Angola operation with BNA Licence No. 420. This reference belongs to Angola. Making services available in Mozambique depends on authorization from Banco de Moçambique.
